We start the episode with the formation of a new
team( Marude and Yoshitoki )
Then we move on to the meeting of Amon and Donato at Cochlea. , where we get a back story for Amon :
Donato ran a church , but someday Amon saw him butchering and eating his 3 friends and he was devastated by that to say the least but he didn't understand why he was the only one spared and thus from that day , he loathed his foster father
He asked him about Aogiri and the Owl but Donato pretended he doesn't know anything about them , the encounter however is interrupted by Aogiri's raid on Cochlea.
Kaneki and Ayato teamed up to invade the detention center and then went their different ways and ended up each facing a strong and important opponent.
Ayato faced Shinohara who is using Arata's armor ( Ayato's and Touka's father ) , while Kaneki faced up Shachi who mysteriously has the same last name as Rize.
Tartara took out an investigator while Eto wondered around.
Suzuya faced off against the one eyed twins ( after he defeated a bunch of fodder Ghouls ) whom he knew back when they were humans.
Kaneki got his ass kicked by Shachi ( despite starting pretty good ) and is about to use a last resort mode ( won't spoil it for you ) after we got to see his motives for joining Aogiri.
All in all , its a good episode with an ok animation ( i guess they are saving up for other epic fights) , the only thing that i don't like is how weak they are portraying white haired Kaneki , but then again its an anime original story ( even though the characters are the same as in the Manga )
